Stylish Button

What We Are Making!

Step 1: I am going to show you how to make a really nice stylish button. First of all what you want to do is open up an new document the size 140 by 30. After you have opened up your new document color the background the color FF8400. Then make a new layer by going to layer/new layer. Color it with the same color "FF8400". Once you have done so go to layer/layer style/blending options and go to gradients. Make a split gradient one side the color "FFC600" and the other side the color "FF8400".

The next thing you want to do is duplicate this layer. So go to layer/duplicate layer. Now go to edit/transform/scale. Drag the layer from bottom to the top leaving it only about 4 pixels big. You should have a orange line on top now. Now once again create a new layer. Color it in white. After that grab the rectangular marquee tool and cut it in half. Then set the opacity to

Now grab the text tool and write what ever you want on top of the button. I will write contact us. Place it in the center of the button. You will give this text a white color and give it a stroke with a orange color. This is what you should have.

Then go to windows/paths. When you come to paths right click on the path and make a selection. Then press the delete key. Once you have that you should only have a little wavy white spot on your bottom. When you have that give it an opacity of 58% and your done with your button. Once you have your button you can then go head and make a whole menu.
